As an AI Engineer at AI Singapore, I work on developing Large Language Models tailored for Southeast Asian languages, aiming to drive innovation in the application of AI to support regional linguistic diversity.Previously, as a Scientist at A*STAR, I applied my expertise in deep learning and computer vision to tackle real-world problems in cardiology and obstetrics/gynecology, collaborating closely with clinicians. I developed novel algorithms and models for biomedical image segmentation of CT scans, predictive modeling for labor induction success, and cardiac arrhythmia signal analysis.I have a PhD from NUS, where I focused on the development and analysis of mathematical models for the gastrointestinal tract. I also have extensive experience in soft robotics, having developed and tested a soft robotic glove for stroke rehabilitation, and supervised undergraduate projects on soft robotics.I’m passionate about leveraging AI and machine learning to solve complex challenges across different industries and domains.
