Responsible for the implementation of a PMO based on the company’s strategic plan while managing high risk and high profile projects. Developed a project management framework and processes based on PMI standards. Templates were developed to standardize internal project deliverables. Supported the development of executive reports, presentations and ad-hoc reporting capabilities. The outcomes are outlined below: -- Successfully managed a corporate rebranding project which required the engagement of all departments and three office locations to complete the deliverables on time. This project involved the executive team and other management staff. Significant change management was required.-- Improved the standardization of deliverables for internal projects -- Developed a road map to guide the company in their implementation of a PMO-- Managed SaaS implementation projects for clients with accounts of $25k to $1Mil-- Managed complex data migration projects for clients with accounts of over $85K

Managed a portfolio of professional services projects, and managed the allocation of internal projects. -- Completed two of the most complex client implementation projects in the company to date; on time and meeting client expectations-- Completed the most implementations with the highest average complexity of the team -- Managed a project which involved the integration of six different software solutions to streamline the sales to client on-boarding, client support and integration development process. This process enabled the project management team to on-board more clients through simplification and process automation.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for managing high profile information systems projects using an iterative approach. Supported the implementation of a PMO at STARS by utilizing the framework, processes and templates for all projects and providing feedback for continuous improvement. PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCEElectronic Patient Care Record (ePCR) – managed a large and complex joint project with Alberta Health Services ePCR team, AHS Fixed Wing team and AHS Quality Assurance team to build and deploy an innovative Critical Care ePCR and Quality Assurance program for STARS. --- Creating a strong and cohesive project team that consisted of members from three provinces, multi-disciplines, and two different organizations was essential to the project. Executives from both organizations required monthly reporting on project progress. --- AHS Fixed Wing transport team fully adopted the new ePCR configuration resulting in easy to read and complete ePCR report for patient transfers from one hospital to another. Blood Products Transport Project – managed a Clinical and IT partnered project to modify the ePCR application for new blood product tracking requirements.--- As a result of this project, STARS is able to keep blood on-board for when patients that required a blood transfusion during transport. --- Meeting the regulatory requirements and demonstrating the process in transporting the blood from the hospital/blood bank to the aircraft was critical to this project. Business Intelligence & Data Migration– led a project to implement a business intelligence solution which involved the improvement of upstream data collection processes, data migration and the decommissioning of a legacy database.

BUSINESS ANALYSIS RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for process mapping, requirements definition and discovery workshops for complex projects at STARS. In addition to managing medium size projects. Proven versatility in eliciting requirements for waterfall, iterative and agile development projects. PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCEQA Web Portal Project– managed an agile development team to build a web portal for medical directors and reviewers to assess quality of patient care. --- As a result of this project, there were quantifiable assurances that quality assurance reviews were completed in 100% of the patient care provided by the STARS Air Medial Crew. --- Patient care record security and provincial patient care quality assurance requirements was an important consideration for this projectAdvanced Airway Management Project– managed a Clinical and IT partnered project to incorporate advanced airway management tracking in the ePCR system. As a result of this project, STARS was able to:--- Develop new advanced airway management strategies and education to manage airway and improve patient care in cases of respiratory/cardiovascular failure due to trauma related incidents. --- Track intubation success rates which was a deficiency in a previous accreditation audit. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Implementation – managed a Governance and IT partnered project to implement a CRM system to support governance and external affairs relationship management.

The International Student Energy Summit was the first student run global energy forum to take place on June 11-13, 2009 in Calgary, AB. (http://www.studentenergy.org)The mission of Student Energy is to empower the next generation of energy leaders to facilitate the global transition towards a sustainable energy future. The International Energy Summit used a multidisciplinary framework that encouraged cooperation between all energy stakeholders, from an individual to the global community. I assisted in the development of key marketing strategies to meet target of 300 international students through the following campaigns: student partnership, professional organizations, social media and professors. I also created letter of invitations for all international students who required a temporary resident visa to enter the country.

Competed in an international undergraduate MIS case study competition in Vancouver, BC. Training consisted of weekly case studies from Harvard and Ivey publications, industry presentation, trial presentations. Worked along side two other team mates and a coach to refine presentation, problem solving and communication skills.
