Developing a research initiative entitled ‘Design Reform!’, that opens up transnational perspectives on the concept of design reform; manifesting as a series of site-specific exhibitions, debates, and publications built around artefacts from existing and future V&A collections. Convenor of the V&A Global Africa Strategy Group.

Advanced V&A strategic priorities around design futures, sustainability and expanding the design canon. Founded the Leverhulme-funded AfriDesignX research hub, bringing together designers, tech innovators, curators and historians from Johannesburg, Nairobi, Dakar, Accra and London to study emerging design solutions responding to large-scale social and environmental change.Convenor of the V&A Africa Curator's Group

Co-founded and taught an MA unit ‘Design Futures: Tendencies, tactics and terminology’ at University of the Arts London.

Analysed socio‐political and cultural trends in relation to fashion and design, and developed the global macro trend reports - these garnered a readership of over 2,150,000 people within the design industry. Delivered presentations and workshops across 22 different cities across the world.
