I am a Washington, DC based designer with a multi-disciplinary background spanning both 2D and 3D design. My expertise in architecture and graphic design has led to successful collaborations with landscape architects, urban designers and architects on projects centered around open space, the public realm and transit systems. Currently employed with LandDesign, my role is a Senior Designer focusing on the enhancement of places through signage, wayfinding, art and storytelling. I am currently working on the Placemaking, Public Art and Signage for a transit-oriented development at the West Falls Church Metro Station along with signage and branding for masterplan projects with LandDesign's landscape architecture and urban design teams.As a Design Director and Project Manager, I have led projects across the United States and internationally in both Asia and the Middle East. While living in Los Angeles, I oversaw the design and installation of all signage, wayfinding and place-based graphics for the Wilshire Grand in Downtown Los Angeles, Union Station Los Angeles and the City of Santa Monica’s First Last Mile Wayfinding system.Regarded industry-wide as an expert on the development of sign districts, policy and guidelines, I worked with the City of West Hollywood to craft their Specific Plan Update for the Sunset Strip. Currently being implemented, this was a first of its kind approach to signage standards which requires all new off-site signage to be both creatively designed and architecturally-integrated.I am an active member of the DC SEGD Chapter, the Potomac ASLA Chapter and proud alumna of the National Cathedral School in Washington, DC.
