Prior to my arrival, Med-Electronics was a medical device sales and service company with aspirations of growing into the pharmaceutical and diagnostic test sales space. I was their first outside sales consultant hire for this new venture, and my focus was on cultivating relationships with local physicians, building a professional reputation, and rapidly growing sales. My key product lines included Browns Compounding Pharmacy, MicroGen Diagnostics Laboratory, and Med-Electronics Medical Equipment Sales.Med-Electronic Medical Equipment Sales: I perform the duties of an outside physician supplies and equipment sales representative. I work with manufacturer representatives, architects and physician clients to build medical spaces that complemented their natural work flow, while increasing efficiency of patient appointments. Key Achievement: I developed a marketing video which was awarded 1st place at NCS, demonstrating the relationship our company had with manufacturers and how that best served the needs of our customers. This was a green-field territory with entrenched competitors, and I grew that business from nothing to 80 doctors ordering an average of 20 scripts per day, resulting in gross revenues of $100,000 per month totaling $1.2 million within a year. Key Achievement: I was recognized as the second highest selling rep in the East Coast Division in November 2013, and as the highest selling rep in the North East Coast Territory for 10 months in a row.
