Duties on my placement included roles in both the production and marketing departments. In production, tasks included photography of historical materials, manipulation of images through Photoshop and regular contact with clients.In marketing I helped to implement promotional campaigns to build the company brand, and achieve business objectives set out in the company’s marketing plan.

At FourFourTweet I had the opportunity to write for a successful sports news site. My weekly football related article would be posted through the Twitter account with over 100,000 followers.Writing for FourFourTweet helped me to adjust my style for the different audience type.

During my time at Deichmann I dealt with a range of responsibilities; Stock taking and replenishing the shop floor, working on the tills, customer service and cash handling/counting. In my second year at Leeds Beckett University I successfully gained a transfer from the Deichmann store in Leicester to the store in Wakefield. I was here promoted to a Team Leader. Responsibilities under the new role included; training new employees, resolving customer complaints and reviewing stock orders.
