With over 30 years of healthcare experience in physical therapy—primarily focusing on home health and geriatrics—I have dedicated my career to helping people recover and rebuild their lives. Today, I bring that same dedication to the non-profit sector as the Director of the Clothing Bank at Friendship House, a Delaware-based organization that unites people facing homelessness with loving, supportive communities.The Clothing Bank is a vital resource for the community, providing high-quality clothing to more than 6,000 people each year. It’s also home to a life skills and job training program for women overcoming significant life challenges, such as incarceration, addiction, and human trafficking. In my role, I draw from my healthcare background, where I worked with individuals in crisis, helping them regain physical abilities. Now, I empower women to develop skills, build confidence, and embrace new opportunities, guiding them toward a brighter future.
