Implement ANSI format conversion effort of production EDI claims processing for a national claims clearinghouse with insurance carriers. Worked with hospital and physician based clients to converted over one hundred lines of business for both claim and remittance advise transactions with their associated government and commercial insurance payers. Managed EDI testing effort through to implementation to a production environment. Designed internal hospital web based software to be able to accommodate the new ANSI formatted transactions.

More specifically, work on a large-scale project to create a multi-line claims management system to handle Workers Compensation (including STD and LTD), General Liability, Professional Liability, and Bodily Injury. Project tasks will include the definition of user requirements, development of detailed design documentation, evaluation and proposal of process re-engineering, prototype development, evaluation of third party products, creation and execution of test plans and test cases, and development of data conversion documentation. Project HIPAA compliance lead responsible for insuring that all new development would meet compliance regulations as mandated by the government.

Develop and implement enhancements to the AMISYS claim processing system using a TURBO Image database on a HP 3000 platform. Set documentation and specification standards for fellow team members.
