Reporting to the Board of Directors, as the CEO, I am a collaborative leader who helps to inspire families, staff, external partners, funders, and the public.The CEO provides executive management of board relations, resource development, program and resource delivery, external collaboration, finance and budgeting, advocacy, and community building. I employ strong business acumen and financial savvy to develop and align financial resources with areas of program focus. I am open to creative and innovative solutions, thinking way outside the box, knowing there is never just one way to address any of the most pressing problems in the communities we serve, including deploying technology solutions for effective delivery of services. I manage the organization’s overall finances, ensuring that the agency has the resources needed to fulfill its mission and assure compliance with all grants and contracts. I am a passionate developer of people as well as community to maintain a service and community oriented organizational culture.

Working with Executive Committee, Board of Directors & Volunteers, led organization in return to bona fide chamber of commerce having initiatives and programs in Community Development, Economic Development, Business Engagement and Personal Involvement after 17 years as an exclusively Main Street organization. Assisted Board Chair and Treasurer to rewrite by-laws for Chamber and Chamber Foundation. Recruited and developed Board of Directors and Ambassadors to match the membership of the organization. Constantly investigate, implement and evaluate new programs and services to give better and higher-value compared to membership investment. Drawing upon nearly 20 years of private sector experience, including 5 years as a chamber member, regularly and consistently communicate directly with members to evaluate effectiveness and use of the benefits as well as educate on existence of them to cement the value of their membership. During tenure, membership has nearly doubled.
