Population Health Systems Manager
CurrentOversees statewide, regional and local technical assistance efforts related to healthy eating, active living, commercial tobacco-free living and community-clinical linkages especially to evidenced based programs i.e. CDSMP, Falls Prevention, NDPP, Walk with Ease, etc. Co-manages CDC Statewide Physical Activity and Nutrition grant and serves as a key point person for OSHII on several other CDC grants that address chronic disease management, substance abuse, school health. Supervises staff of 5 subject matter experts. Builds key partnerships, collaborates to identify emerging issues and assesses needs and facilitates statewide planning and technical assistance to build state and community capacity to implement and evaluate policy, system and environmental change efforts. Leads OSHII quality improvement projects. Has role in Emergency Preparedness Incident Command System. Mentors public health students.
