How it works: Whether it be a hotel room block of at least 10 rooms, meeting space, or both, we discuss your program needs. We can even assist with cruises. HelmsBriscoe then creates a request for proposal (RFP) to evaluate potential venues. As a result of our proprietary hotel database and global relationships, you will receive up to three times the amount of responses to your RFP. We do the research, track down the answers, follow up with the venues that meet your criteria and manage the process on your behalf. Once you have reviewed the report that I compile and selected a hotel, I negotiate contract terms and concessions on your behalf. Although I will negotiate for you, you retain control over all decisions and have the final say on the contractual terms. Because of our immense buying power and unmatched industry relationships, our hotel partners do not raise rates in order to pay our commissions; they recognize it as the cost of doing business and pay us out of their corporate marketing budgets.
