Through multi-media work and education, I spotlight stories from disability community that challenge the ways disability narratives are usually presented.I write, direct, produce, edit, and co-star in films about life with brain injury and disability culture. My first two films are short comedies exploring everyday struggles. Most of my later works are done in a cross-disability setting. Other media projects include blogging and podcasting, audio production, and making content accessible. I am using art for activism, social justice, and for celebrating disability and brain injury pride.Other projects and skills include: -closed captioning-audio description-presentations to grade school classes on brain injury-presentations to the community and in professional development for speech-language pathology and other rehabilitation fields-research-based presentations for CEUs and CLEs-creating accessible pdfs and other documents
