Cheryl has most recently developed and implemented an award-winning educational outreach program for the North Fulton County Water Reclamation facilities currently located at the Johns Creek Environmental Campus in Roswell, GA. Recent winner of the 2018 Fulton County Citizens Commission on the Environment Award and a Fulton County Board of Commissioners Proclamation, the program educates on the water treatment cycle and "what happens to our water before and after we use it". It promotes the importance of being good environmental stewards. Visitors are shown process videos, lab projects and taken on a tour of the $138M state-of-the-art facility and educated on the Membrane BioReactor technology being used. This program has offered educational outreach to more than 50,000 visitors emphasizing the importance of water treatment and the progressive steps Fulton county has taken. Cheryl and the program have received numerous recognitions and awards, most recently she was included in 'The Atlantan Magazine's - 2020 Women of Power & Influence'. The program has received BOC Proclamations, an Educational Award from Fulton County's Committee on the Environment and was also awarded 'The 2014 Public Education Program of the Year' by the Georgia Association of Water Professionals.Cheryl is also a licensed Real Estate Broker with the State of Georgia and has been licensed in real estate since 1994 in the states of Michigan and Georgia.Cheryl has attained a very inter-disciplinary skill set which encompasses real estate, architectural design, business development, program management, web development, marketing, and public relations. She has served in various positions such as Program Manager, Vice President of Marketing & Business Development, Quality Assurance Liaison/Tech Writer, Web Developer and Broker throughout her 30 years of professional work experience. This was done with various types of organizations.
