It utilizes cost-efficient technology to educate farmers about cutting-edge agronomic research.As a data analyst, I reviewed literature and conducted market research to support the company’s business and technology development -- specifically, in the development of machine learning-based mobile technology to aid farmers in reducing losses from disease, deficiency and pests.

The goal of our research was to inform policy recommendations to ensure eligible Philadelphians remain connected to their benefits (SNAP, Medicaid, TANF). I conducted 300+ in-person surveys at five County Assistance Offices across Philadelphia, coordinated schedules of 30+ interns and served as liaison between them and project managers.

I conducted research on the impact of Piazza - an online discussion forum, on college students’ performance in class. The goal of this project was to examine whether this effect differs across student groups by race, gender, socio-economic background, etc. Specifically, we studied how participation in the form of questions asked, answered, read, and logins (among other parameters) on Piazza affected students’ final grades, using R to analyze the large dataset.
