As a litigation partner at AGG, I focus my practice on healthcare and business-related disputes. I work with healthcare providers (hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, hospices, and home health agencies) involved in litigation, government investigations, and administrative disputes. I also defend employers in putative class and collective actions brought under the FLSA, the FCRA, and related consumer protection statues.Additionally, I’ve participated in numerous domestic and international arbitrations and have served as counsel in proceedings administered by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). I am a member of the Atlanta International Arbitration Society (ATLAS).Successes Include:- Represented healthcare provider in multi-million dollar lawsuit involving claims for tortious interference, defamation, and Georgia RICO- Successfully resolved a proposed nationwide putative class action brought in Georgia under the FCRA against a company providing payroll agent services under various public health programs- Achieved complete defense judgment for mental health provider against independent contractor in contract dispute alleging violations of claims run-out provision- Represented several national healthcare companies in DOJ investigations of alleged FCA violations for therapy reimbursement- Serving as counsel for national long-term care provider in putative collective and class action involving alleged FLSA violations
