I was the first point of contact between the public and our committee staff and coordinated the schedule for our staff director as well. Press duties included monitoring the Alaska and national newspapers and blogs for relevant energy and natural resources news and including said stories into the daily clips. Drafting press releases, op-eds, talking points and speeches were part of my responsibilities as well.

As Production Director for our four station cluster in Juneau, Alaska (105.1-FM, 106.3-FM, 630-AM, 830-AM) I oversaw all the commercial production that eventually went on-air. I interacted daily with the sales staff, clients, wrote copy, recorded, edited, voiced, and produced as necessary. I was also responsible for imaging and promos on all four stations, and was part of a three person on-air show on the country station (TAKU 105).
