- Serve as lead municipal advisor providing strategic and technical advice to California school and community college districts on their municipal bond financings- Structure tax-exempt and taxable municipal debt, e.g. general obligation bonds, certificates of participation, special tax bonds, bond anticipation notes, and tax and revenue anticipation notes- Specialize in planning bond programs, analyzing debt capacity, preparing credit profiles, and researching market developments- Advise on new money and refinancing transactions and present to district staff and board members- Negotiate interest rates between districts and underwriters on new market issues- Work closely with issuers, bond counsels, underwriters, county officials, rating agencies, and trustees on debt financings
