The project was to develop a Web Crawler and Indexing Application tool to search Library Databases similar to Google, Yahoo for large-scale data retrieval using Open Source Tools such as Apache Nutch, Solr, HBase and Hadoop on RedHat Linux Platform. Our goal to handle distributed file systems in NoSql database using Cluster of Computers. Milestones achieved: -1) Web Crawling using Apache Nutch for small websites on RedHat Linux.2) Loading and Reading the above Data using Apache HBase on RedHat Linux.3) Smart view of the Data using Apache Solr.4) Data handling and distribution system using Apache Hadoop in 3 clusters of computers.
