As a dedicated individual with a master’s degree in forensic science and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, I bring a unique blend of analytical skills and sociological insight to the field of law enforcement. My academic background has equipped me with an understanding of crime scene analysis, evidence handling, and many types of sociocultural factors, including those that may have an influence on criminal behavior and trends. Though my direct experience in law enforcement is still developing, my passion for public safety and justice drives my commitment to the field. I have actively sought opportunities to apply myself within different aspects of law enforcement through volunteering for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. My hands-on experience in this role has allowed me to build practical skills and gain valuable insights into day-to-day law enforcement operations.In addition to the various skills that I have acquired during my volunteer work and my forensic science education, my educational background in sociology provides me with a comprehensive perspective on societal issues, which further enhances my ability to understand the root causes of crime.
