About Chhavi Dhingra
I am an engineer, researcher, engagement and learning strategist, with two decades of experience in sustainable transportation and cities, with a focus on climate action, equity, capacity development and inclusion.My experience of working with leading non-profits like the World Resources Institute (WRI) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI); and international development agencies like the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and The World Bank, on a number of philanthropic and development aid programs aimed at decarbonizing the urban, transport and energy sectors, especially in the Global South, has enriched my understanding of the importance of integrating contextual and collective learning as an intrinsic part of programmatic strategy design. I have used these experiences as learning fodder to create and help institutionalize organizational structures and processes that promote and encourage continuous improvement and learning within internal teams and external partners for magnified impact. I am a certified trainer, facilitator, and course developer, and have several published works on sustainable transport, including a book by Springer. My mission is to drive learning and engagement for sustainable transportation and energy solutions, promote equity and inclusion, and to create impactful and lasting change.
