Used libcurl and event thread pool to achieve block-level parallelization. Effectively reduced the bottleneck for large file transmission time by 80%.• Experimented and redesigned overall file storage structure for the C2Share. Optimized on the latency of synchronizing large files between the local NAS and the cloud storage. Introduced patch-chunk partial upload and download mechanism for large files. Greatly reduced turnaround time and traffic for modifying large files by 78% at most.• Utilized Google's gRPC and Protocol Buffers in the C2Share project to achieve more general and extensible inter-process and inter-thread communication interface.
