Given a natural system is made up of many interconnected components, any environmental issue can be tackled using more than one approaches. Therefore, I firmly believe enhancing diversity in the field of environmental science can offer various multidisciplinary solutions to address complex problems.Spent most of my early youth in Vietnam and migrated to the U.S for higher education, I have had the opportunity to compare and contrast how culturally different citizens value the conservation of vital resources like soil, air, and water. Each country consumes environmental resources disproportionately, leading to varying policy emphasis. Harnessing the strengths from two systems then combining them with technical knowledge allows me to develop solutions for problems that apply to the world's diverse communities.Throughout my academic career, I have worked and volunteered for various organizations, academic institutions, and businesses to understand how people in different fields impact the environment. Upon my graduation in June 2024, I'm actively searching for jobs and internships related to natural resource management and conservation. Preferred positions include environmental consultant, junior specialist, research assistant, educator, inspector, but also not limited to other positions based on employer's need.Besides scientific skills, I also have experience teaching and tutoring K12 students. I'm bilingual in Vietnamese and English and able to translate documents between two languages. Finally, I can also do basic remote sensing, GIS analysis, and visual design.
