I worked as a supply chain executive in this company. My roles are procurement of materials, sourcing, tracking of materials and monitor project budget. I am responsible to procure all the parts in a BOM list. I have to ensure all the parts in the BOM list is procured and this has trained me to be a more detailed person. During procurement, I have to source the most reliable vendors with the cheapest price. This further sharpen my negotiation skill from my previous job. After procurement, I have to track the status of the parts which is the estimated delivery date of the materials as this information is very crucial for machine build. In addition, I am responsible to monitor the project budget for each project and update to my superior if there is any discrepancy from predefined budget.

My first job after graduation was a shipping executive in Easy Pack Sdn Bhd. I spent one year working for this company and picked up some valuable skills from this position. The most precious working experience from here was managing shipments. These shipments includes local, export, import and for some exhibitions overseas. Throughout these shipments, I also learnt all the necessary steps required to perform a successful shipment. Firstly, I handled a full set of export documents. I ensured all the customer requirements for shipment arrangement are met. During the process of packaging, I also have to monitor and control the company total freight cost as well as the safety packaging of shipment. Lastly, I picked up negotiation skills as I have to deal with all parties related to shipment.
