I am a highly versatile and driven expert for innovation, product management, and growth strategy. Over the past eight years, I have successfully put my academic background in Technology Management, Consumer Behavior and Communication into practice at a software company. In various positions – currently Director Strategy & Innovation – I have contributed to its growth from small startup to internationally respected leader in its field and eventual acquisition by a multi-national corporation.In all of the roles I have held so far, I thrived most whenever I was encouraged to put my versatility and broad interests to use. My ability to bridge the gap or mediate between product and communications, user needs and technology, business strategy and operations, creativity and analytical has consistently lead me to exciting intersections, where information converges to create something new. But even more than the challenging tasks, I enjoy the diversity of people and interactions in these positions. Working together with methodical strategists, creative out-of-the-box thinkers, detailed-focused specialists, and hands-on users to find the best possible solutions or build something new never gets boring.Finding myself in a career in innovation and related fields was surely not something I planned out after graduating high school. But it certainly was no accident either! Since I can remember, I have been lead by curiosity and admiration for innovations and groundbreaking technologies. Whether it's my soft spot for for science-fiction novels or the joy of trying out the latest gadgets: I always want to have a glimpse of what's next. Not only out of curiosity for the technologies or innovations themselves, but rather for how we will put them to use to solve the great challenges of our time.
