Hi, I’m Chiara, and I work as a Project Manager, a job title that can sound incredibly important or like I just send emails all day (spoiler: it’s a bit of both!). To be more specific, I design, write, implement, and report on projects for young people. These are funded by donors like the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, the European Youth Foundation, national foundations, and more 🌍I’m currently part of the Secretariat of ESN Italy, based in Rome 🇮🇹, where I get to work with an amazing, dynamic, and multicultural team. Being surrounded by about 2500 volunteers and members means I’m never short of inspiration or fresh ideas, which help turn ambitious proposals into impactful projects.Now for the fun stuff: I was born in 1992 under the sign of Leo (with a Scorpio rising, oops, I know! 😅), and I grew up on the stunning island of Sardinia 🏝️ There, traditions run deep, from delicious food to festivals that bring everyone together. It’s where I learned the value of community and the beauty of staying connected to nature.Life has taken me to some incredible places. I spent time in Tanzania 🇹🇿 , in the Iringa region at 2,500 meters above sea level, working on environmental research for my master’s thesis and volunteering in the Pomerini village. Later, I lived in Turkey 🇹🇷, first in Eskişehir, a beautiful university town, and then in the enchanting city of Istanbul, where I even found love!Traveling and exploring new places is one of my biggest passions. When I’m not busy with work or planning my next adventure, I’m immersing myself in art in all its forms or capturing the world through my camera lens.Nice to meet you! 😊
