ManagerTispace - Dedicated Space Services Jan 2023 - Present台灣 Taiwan 苗栗I played a key role in the development, manufacturing, and continuous improvement of the filament winding process for sounding rockets and low earth orbit launch vehicles. I also contributed to the design of laminations for aircraft radomes. Additionally, I was responsible for the development and fabrication of all composite material components used in rockets. -
材料工程師國家中山科學研究院 Dec 2016 - Jan 2023桃園龍潭 My job involved the development of processes and the design of laminations for filament winding used in shells and tubes within the national defense system. I successfully developed two filament-wound products, namely, the shell for a launch vehicle and a consumable igniter shell. I developed a confidential advanced filament winding process along with a new type of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) mandrel, enabling the fabrication of the largest shell in Taiwan for a solid rocket motor used in low earth orbit launch vehicles. Traditional igniters were constructed from steel with a heat insulation layer, which led to a reduction in launch vehicle propulsion. In order to enhance the propulsion of the launch vehicle, I created a process for a consumable igniter shell made from CFRP, resulting in a lighter weight and improving propulsion efficiency.
