Part-time dreamer, full-time doer (or at least I like to think so). I have a strong passion for research, empowerment, and equity, and I am on a mission to tackle big challenges like food security and climate resilience while committing to community empowerment. As the co-founder of Lima-Aja, I am in the business of connecting dots; farmers, markets, sustainability you name it. At the heart of our innovative approach is the understanding that households in Africa spends 50% of their income on food. We are leveraging this reality to innovate and provide higher-quality, more accessible, and nutritious food. We are also driven by the striking statistic that by 2050, 2.5 billion people, nearly a quarter of the world’s population, will live in Africa. This demographic shift presents both a challenge and an unprecedented opportunity to create lasting impact. On the flip side of my active work is a quieter passion, my unpublished research papers, which I am excited to share soon.
