DESCRIPTION AND DUTY OF POSITION: DUTIES OF THIS POSITIONPrimary duties and responsibilities:Distribution system operation;Distribution line and substation maintenance;Minor construction and meter connections.General functions and duties:Manage operation and maintenance of PPSELD distribution system; Direct PPSELD line construction activities, as needed;Assign, coordinate and direct work schedule of PPSELD line crews;Ensure PPSELD O&M staff receive safety and skills development training, and have access to personal protection equipment, hand tools, and vehicular support to accomplish O&M tasks in a safe and effective manner;Maintain documentation of labor and materials, work equipment, tools, transportation equipment other assets assigned to PPSELD Operations Department;Provide information to procurement department regarding material needs in sufficient time for materials to be ordered and received;Coordinate routine inspections of all line and substation facilities to assure proper performance;Receive and analyze service interruption reports and voltage complaints. Recommends changes to correct conditions in system design wherever possible. Monitors outage records and evaluates the annual summaries for planning of system maintenance;Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Chief of Party.Manage IT network, equipment and software.Manage network map, software and network maps.
