• Researched literature on the perception of parks and public recreation spaces by minorities and the barriers they face when accessing and participating in recreation. Using this research I created a report stating all of my findings and provided methods of inclusion.• Created a DEI survey that was sent to PRPS affiliated organizations that gauged where organizations were in DEI competencies, and to see what areas of DEI organizations are interested in for future workshops. • Organized PRPS "Listening Tour", a series of focus groups that were held with a goal to understand the barriers underrepresented youth face when participating in recreation. Created focus group questions. Collaborated with recreation leaders in Pennsylvania to find meeting centers and gather minority youth in Reading, Allentown, and Philadelphia.
