• VMware Live Recovery (By Broadcom) Staff Engineer• SME in Ransomware Recovery for VMware Cloud Disaster Recovery add-on offering• Ransomware implemented strategies, along with awareness of malware signature scans and vulnerability assessment potential threats within private or public cloud environment• Enterprise Disaster Recovery solution that can be implemented to Failover and Failback server workloads with intended strategy and project requirements• Zoom-in on specific Cloud DR failover mapping (compute, network, and storage resource mapping) for given CU's production (/or test) server workloads (Dev, App, DB)• Leverage python-based tools and Linux-based navigation for AWS EC2 and proprietary SaaS product offering for revenue (and internal) client/customer base• Fleet assistance and individual VMware Cloud DR instance troubleshooting and code resolution issues

• Assist customers with newly deployed or already existing DVX storage environments for Disaster Recovery, failover and backup solution implementation for critical applications, production databases, or workloads for end-users• Remediating DVX hardware issues, where replacement of component parts such as HDD, SSD, controllers, etc is required to be dispatched, along with FE (Field Engineer) delivering replacement parts at the customer’s data center site location • Actively working with internal and external customers in assisting with new VMware Cloud Disaster Recovery environments in leveraging and deploying Cloud Connector on the protected site, extending setup to recovery SDDCs (VMC on AWS), Scale Cloud File System (tcp 1759) and VCDR Orchestrator (tcp 443) associated to configured AWS regions for workload failover and tailback features• Rolling out and upgrading internal and external VCDR environments with new AMI release builds for Cloud Disaster Recovery Orchestrator and Cloud File System components in AWS EC2 public cloud platform• Leverage python-based technical services scripts and tools to address error codes similar to controller ECC, networking compute/data nodes, replication site statuses, space utilization, Snapshot tasks, replication operations or physical hardware alert warnings, to further diagnose and remediate DVX storage specific-issues * Opening and tracking bugs with DVX or VCDR engineering teams to call out and develop feature enhancements or code logic fixes for bugs experienced out in the field or external live customer environments
