Performed in multiple concurrent roles to support the Marketplace remediation and operations efforts; Medicaid/CHIP, financial management, and Appeals development efforts; and Marketplace data operations, administration, and management efforts.Reported directly to the CMS Administrator, Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Staff, and Chief Information Officer on Marketplace IT and business operations. On site final decision maker for all Marketplace systems changes, corrective actions, maintenance windows, incident response determinations, data actions, and other activities associated with the Marketplace portfolio of systems. Also key consultant and technical resource for the United States Chief Technology Officer/Assistant to the President and the DHHS Secretary’s Senior IT Advisor. Key contributor for the successful Federal Facilitated Marketplace and Data Services Hub turnaround and corrective action efforts post initial launch.

Serving as an IT architect and system engineering lead on the development and implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Health Insurance Marketplaces/Exchanges and the Data Services Hub. Chairing or co-chairing and acting as senior liaison for a number of leadership teams, workgroups, and “sprint” teams to support joint CMS key stakeholders, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Social Security Administration (SSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other Federal and State IT integration, engineering, testing, and requirement efforts.
