Facilitates bus operator medical examiner physicals. Responsible for annual DOE Loading Zone Survey and Evacuation Drill Exercises. Participates in Transportation Evaluation Team Charter Reviews. Directly supervises two (2) Area Managers with a staff of over 150 employees, one ESE Lead Driver Trainer, one OSIII employee, and two (2) Transportation Dispatchers.Member of Transportation for Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board. Member of District Homeless Education Committee. Calendar Committee Member and District Emergency Response Team Member.

Responsibilities included activating and managing the Emergency Operations Center, Coordinating with all Emergency Support Functions (ESF), completing situation reports, compiling and preparing briefings, scheduling and presenting public education talks, compiling and publishing the Emergency Response Guide, developing and reviewing the Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan, ESF plans, and Incident Action Plans for Volusia County, reviewed local business emergency plans. When activated managed a staff of over 30 people.
