In 2013 and 2015, the Society of Professional Journalists gave me its annual award for "best reporter" in Chicago-area radio. Another story ("They Shot Daddy") examined a fatal shooting by police in a rural trailer park and earned 1995's Milwaukee Press Club award for best investigative report in the state.
