CurrentUtilize extensive experience in hospitality and golf management to oversee operations of this semi-private country club that takes pride in offering something for everyone: great golf experiences, great customer service and outstanding guest hospitality. Manage and mentor assistant/associate golf professionals, teaching professionals, tournament coordinator, and guest services attendants. o Oversee the care and maintenance of physical assets, grounds, overall aesthetic appealo Manage operations and processes associated with all tournamentso Motivate employees to provide high level of service, create service-oriented atmosphereo Develop and implement policies and procedures for the golf department o Prepare work schedules and assign areas of responsibility o Liaise with various golf professionals, tournament chairs and committeeso Develop and support marketing programs that promote features, benefits and services o Work to maintain and increase group golf sales, number of rounds and average rateo Monitor retail and merchandise related activities (receiving, pricing, open-to-by, inventory) o Perform HR functions: interview, hire, train, plan, assign/direct work, evaluate performanceo Prepare annual budget, develop revenue goals and budget expenses o Review financial reports and take corrective action when necessary o Provide golf instruction through lessons and clinics to members and guests
