Managed HES aspects of geophysical surveys and exploration projects at a joint operation straddling the border zone between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Survey operations included microgravity; ground gravity gradiometry, airborne gravity gradient/magnetometry survey. All surveys completed without incident. • Managed successful development and submittal of separate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) to Saudi & Kuwaiti environmental authorities. EIAs addressed planned execution of 3D seismic survey covering 5500 km2 – 4600 km2 onshore and 900 km2 offshore. • Provided HES input, support and oversight to 3D seismic survey project plan during conceptual development. Provided Seismic Operations Advisor with HES management system inputs to project execution plan. Developed and oversaw implementation of relevant HES procedures.• Mentored junior & national HES staff assigned to the site’s Exploration and HES Departments.

Tengizchevroil is a joint venture operated by Chevron Global Uptream's Europe, Eurasia & Middle East Expl. & Prod. Co.Managed implementation of comprehensive HES management system, including newly standardized HES processes, across Tengizchevroil (TCO) JV operations. • Directed performance of six persons (three back-to-back rotational positions) providing strategic and tactical work direction and performance feedback. Provided strategic direction and performance feedback to 30 others. Acting HES Superintendent March through Sept 2008. • Developed and directed “center of expertise” execution strategy enabling more effective and efficient transfer of skills and technology from seasoned expats to less experienced national staff. Resulted in quicker-than-anticipated development of national staff for process advisor positions.• Managed project cost center including $5MM annual budget and incremental project labor (6-12 FTEs) addressing deployment & implementation of critical processes (Incident Investigation and Reporting; Behavior-Based Safety; Contractor HES Management; and, Managing Safe Work). Annual spend controlled to within 3% (or less) of annual project budget targets.
