Exclusively consulted Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) towards achieving their strategic and operational goals.Working with the India Leadership Team of CIFF, led the process of designing a foundational Strategy : the Girl Capital Strategy - that consolidated all of CIFF’s portfolios to maximise impact for adolescent girls.The strategy was the first globally adopted strategy of CIFF that was totally conceptualized in India Included participation of over 17 team members across global locations. The strategy received a great response and was launched at the UNGA, 2019.

Led and advised the the board and the LT of the organisation towards :• Fund raising from Corporates, Government bodies and other non-profits• Drafting and Designing end to end Strategy, goals.• Drafting and planning the execution of the Strategy through detailed approaches and log frame• Leading in supporting the Fund-Raising team through proposal development processes, and guiding for results• Managing the existing Skill Development donors for project completion and opportunities for future funding

As a part of the team of senior leadership, I was responsible for creating/ pioneering programs for victims of trafficking and lead two departments of Aftercare and Employment Creation in the south Asia Region.Was nominated on the board of Justice and Care Development Association ( a section 8 company), and led the first Skill training project for victims of human trafficking with a focus on in-house placements through international clientsIntroduced Project Budgeting and was a part of the committee designing projects/operations and fund management/review of projects• Designed the strategies for Aftercare and Employment Creation and built team capacities to deliver programs to ensure quality• Built in internal monitoring systems to have visible impact of the Skill development program and the rehabilitation program• Designed the protocols and SOP’s for Inclusive Skilling and end-end Rehabilitation for internal training, and external stakeholder trainings with a vision to scale up programs through other partners and ensure quality• Designed the progress card, mapping the indicators of success for victim care and protection and setting up the monitoring processes.Key Achievements :• The model pioneered for Victims of human trafficking and their Skill development program was launched by the Honorable President of India on 8th March 2018• Represented Inclusive Skilling agenda at the NSDC Board Seminar in March 2018 to institutionalize the model created for inclusive skilling.• Spearheaded the first Indian celebrity fund raising through the foundation of Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli • Led as the official spokesperson for Justice and Care on Rehabilitation and Reintegration and have been interviewed by radio mirchi 91.1 FM, Reuters, Skills Reporter, and for investors in UK.

• Pioneered the Model for Skill training for victims of human trafficking, trained over 200 survivors within a pilot phase of 1 year, leading to a unique and marquee convergence workshop to launch the program for victims of trafficking• Designed, and pioneered the process of convergence workshop with UNDP, NSDC, Ministry of Skills and MWCD to establish the need for Inclusive Skilling• Capacity Building and Knowledge development of Partners within India and Bangladesh• Designing the Baseline indicators for the Skill program and monitoring and evaluation matrix

The name Mudita - a Pali term that means joy derived out of helping others - was born on our dinner table! Founded this non-profit that works in the area of education, livelihoods and child protection.Helped in getting the foundation create its vision, strategy and then operationalise its objectives.Exited after handing over the reigns to the existing Trustees.

As part of the board, I was responsible for the overall Business Development and operations of the organisation cutting across fund raising, building feasible programme models, creating the HO and project teams, building compelling project proposals towards fund/resource raising, liaisioning with multiple stakeholders (esp. CXOs), operationalizing the projects, monitoring & evaluation, brand-building and showcasing the organization and the body of work at various fora etc. Defining the mission and vision of the organisation and laying down the guidelines for operations by drafting the HR manual, Operations Manual and Monitoring and Evaluation Manual• Spearheaded conceptualising the organisation’s mandates and programme strategies – so as to create a feasible business model as well as operational base for skill development. • Headed the teams, leading to sanctioning of projects within a span of 2 years - Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala.• As part of the key client interfacing team, was able create strong consortia with large business houses and Non-Profits. This included corporates like Jindal Steel Works, Kapston’s Facilities Management, ISAP, Tholons and NGOs like Xavier’s institute, Bits and Bytes, Adharshila Shikshan Sangh, Kaira Social Service Society etcKey Achievements :• Included as a part of the expert panel of MoRD for designing skill development SOP• Led the key processes of design and development of technical and financial proposals andnegotiated a loan model with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

Led a team of 13, assuming dual responsibility. This included setting up and operationalization of an organization wide M&E framework including automated MIS, ensuring compliance of projects, scaling up of the operations and create project wise pan India organizational hierarchy. Managed Projects worth Rs 200 crores funded by Ministry of Rural Development and Leading Corporates.• Designed policy guidelines for monitoring the project activities in line with project requirement (end-to end process evaluation)– mid course monitoring, at the end of training cycle and post placement • Single handedly rolled out the M&E framework in the organization in the first 4 months of joining. Initiative appreciated by all stakeholders – including the GoI teams. Framework later adopted by the MoRD within the skill development scheme.• Instrumental in planning, designing, and documenting national level feasibility study of the rural BPL youth for the Ministry of Rural Development Project. This included a sample size of 60,000 youth across the country. • Set up live MIS platform for monitoring KPIs by stakeholders.• Drafted the Human Resource Manual listing HR polices across departments/hierarchies

• Led the project design for Skill Development spanning Goverment and Corporate sector.• Achieved raising a corpus of Rs 200 Crores • Planning, designing and documenting Feasibility study for Districts in Maharashtra for International organisation – Save the Children.• Carried out impact assessment of Accenture Skill Development project.

• Conceptualised and spearheaded the SESS program – Skill Employment for Services Sector• Designed project proposals for various state governments and MoRD, GoI.• Strategised the programs for services sector and represented the organisation at various government/corporate meetings.

Directly reporting to the CEO and spearheaded a team of 24, for the implementation of the employment linked skill development programme for the youth in the state of AP, in partnership with government departments and corporate agencies. • Successfully negotiated leading to increase in funding for projects with the state government – amounting to Rs 7 Cr. • Managed 83 training centers catering to the skill development and wage employment of youth across the regions.• Initiated the setting up of three-tier monitoring systems for projects in consultation with state government departments to ensure accountability and transparency.

Program Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Impact Assessment• Conceptualized project idea for a Maharashtra based NGO that works on the human rights issues of Devadasi women and rehabilitation of their children.• Designed a project in consultation with the target group on addressing the human rights issues of tribals in Jharkhand using non-conventional media (Community Radio) as a tool for development. • Developed an Urban Strategy paper for a Gujarat based organization, analyzing their current work and proposing the way forward. The NGO extensively works on livelihood issues in rural Gujarat and peace building & reconciliation during and in the aftermath of the Gujarat Riots• Conducted an impact assessment of a seven year women’s empowerment programme run by a NGO based in Maharashtra.

Working with multi-cultural teams, Managed the Global Conflict Prevention Pool (GCPP) (budget of £ 300,000) and Bilateral Programmes (budget of £ 400,000) of the Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) for managing the projects in J&K and Gujarat on conflict resolution and peace building.• Developed a sustainability plan for a project on strengthening the decentralized governance system in J&K. • Developed a multiyear project idea on capacity building of civil society in J & K. • Spearheaded the process of impact assessment. The guidelines thus provided were utilized by the London programme teams to develop a whitepaper on impact assessment. • Conducted an impact assessment and submitted a report to London HQ on the relevance of the programme and strategic directions for financial year 2007-08 . Achievement• Conceptualised tools for programme management - appraisal matrix, proposal formats, impact assessment tool and guidance for utilising the programme funds• Published an article for the Human Rights Report on Tulir - Centre for the Prevention and Healing of Child Sexual Abuse. The article delves with partnering with schools to prevent and address child sexual abuse etc

Led the Small Grants Scheme – a DFID programme administered by the BHC. The programme involved managing a budget of £ 212,000 for identifying and funding NGOs for projects that fit the DFID priorities of achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)• Developed tools for project selection to ensure objectivity in the project selection process. • Conceptualized a tool to assess the implementation capacity of NGOs and set the systems for management of the SGS programme.Achievement :The procedures and tools developed for managing SGS programme was utilised by DFID while formulating a new programme on Access to Justice

Actively involved in an integrated project on health, education and livelihood implemented in four districts of Gujarat - Kutch, Surendranagar, Patan and Rajkot.• Part of the team that designed the strategies, allocated budgets and provided log frame – towards the end to end Strategy of achieving project goals.

• Selected to the very prestigious fellowship programme – a high quality on-the-job management training module – for grooming future leaders.• Was selected to visit CARE Sri Lanka, to understand and analyse the infrastructure, service delivery and other multi-sectoral projects especially in the areas affected by conflicts.
