I am a young and eager power electronics engineer looking to make strides in the industry. After undergraduate, I did not feel I had enough to make a significant impact, so i went to graduate school. I studied advanced analog circuit techniques and design with an emphasis in power electronics at Stanford University.Currently working The Aerospace Corporation in the Electronics and Power Systems Department. I am mainly focused on circuit level analysis rather than system level. I have modeled systems in SPICE simulators and SIMPLIS to see their stability performance and to find the root case of anomalous behavior. Many situations call for laboratory work. I like to get my hands dirty and build up prototype circuits, test circuits, or circuits to recreate an anomaly. I feel as comfortable in a lab as I do in an office.I am also interested in Gallium Nitride (GaN) enhancement mode FETs for use in switching power converters. I have worked on numerous switching converters using this new technology to see their viability in the space environment. These devices seem to be on track to displace Si MOSFETs in some designs.
