I am currently working in the Space and Defense sector on space safety and situational awareness, with a particular focus on space debris, space object custody, and risk assessment.Previously, I held a position as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. My research focus was in extragalactic astronomy, specifically studying the relationship between galaxies and their central, active supermassive black holes. Most of my work involved parsing through large data sets to find interesting connections and then taking these relationships and presenting them in a clear, creative way.
