I am a key member of the All The Best team; an internationally recognised podcast and radio show. In this role I work closely with the Executive Producer to develop the show and expand both the contributor and listener base. I deliver administrative support to students and academic staff in the Faculty of Arts.Duties Include:• Managing five faculty email accounts.• Providing specialised support to current and future postgraduate research students.• Managing time effectively in a joint role as a general administrator and postgraduate research support.• General administration including event planning, maintaining office supplies, organising board meetings and minute taking.• Organising publication data for Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA). Achievements:• Planned the 2nd annual Postgraduate Research Day. Leading the video live stream, website and event program.• Organised the ‘Cyber Security in the Age of Open Government’ conference for 50 attendees of the Sydney Cyber Security Network.

In this fixed-term role I assisted the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Research Manager with a range of interpersonal and administrative tasksIncluding: • Data collection and analysis• Digitising business processes for Faculty research grant projects • Proofreading Faculty documents • Writing copy for the faculty Newsletter • Creating content for the new faculty Intranet• Interviewing professional and academic staff members

I was chosen for a secondment with the University’s Research Portfolio as the point of contact for researchers applying for 2017 ARC Discovery Project grants. This role relied on a high level of attention to detail in order to successfully check applications for compliance and eligibility. Achievements • Competent with Government and University management systems.• Worked simultaneously across multiple applications to meet strict University and Government submission deadlines.
