Ks5 Lead For English & Film FacultyMulberry School For Girls May 2013 - Jul 2019Tower Hamlets, LondonI worked for the Mulberry Schools Trust from 2013, completing my Schools Direct & PGCE in 2014. I oversaw the KS5 English curriculum for MSFG and help design and develop all curriculum content across the key stages. Alongside teaching duties I helped to manage and lead the fantastic English & Film Faculty. MSFG is a creative arts school with a strong focus on developing leadership, creativity and a love of learning in all the young women they work with. I contributed to whole school learning and had a lead role in developing and implementing the Fetch Me a Pen project across the school. MSFG was a brilliant place to work and it was a real privilege to work with such dedicated educators and impressive students.

Curriculum Programmer For The 'Tuesday Project'Clapton Girls' Academy Jan 2012 - Aug 2012London, United KingdomI was asked to devise and then oversee an alternative curriculum for selected students within CGA. This involved working with partner providers in and around the borough of Hackney to ensure students were able to access learning and the mainstream curriculum through project based activities. The programme spanned a number of areas, learning through filming, media and music, outdoor learning and developing confidence through culinary skills. Key partners included, Hackney Inspire, Shoreditch Spa and Hackney City Farm. I organised and oversaw delivery of the programme, completed the initial assessment, reporting, moitoring and recommendation phase. The programme was extremely successful and is still ongoing, known within the organisation as the 'Tuesday Project'.

Youth Projects & Advocacy Manager (My City Too)Open City Feb 2010 - Jan 2012London, United KingdomWhilst at Open-City I managed a programme of learning projects which sought to develop a love of architecture and the built environment for young people. I helped develop and lead the programme curriculum for the 'My City Too' project which helped young people to have a voice in the development of London's story through the fabric of the streets and shared spaces. The projects devised and completed were youth led and made use of differing design media and storytelling formats. By working with multiple stakeholders and partners we developed creative and interactive workshops examining regional London issues alongside building an understanding of local neighbourhood identities. -
Community Partnership ManagerInpartnership Jun 2004 - Sep 2009Manchester, United KingdomWhilst working with Inpartnership I organised and developed community projects complementing large scale regeneration programmes and partnerships between Local Authorities and Inpartnership. I worked across the North West and the Midlands developing new methods of community involvement and consultation in order to strengthen proposed regeneration outcomes. Projects included community planning and design processes where I pioneered a community quality audit approach, a version of which featured in Govt. guidance document 'Manual for Streets'. Community led neighbourhood design and story formation, as well as small scale social economic interventions. I was focused on providing support for projects for multiple partners, including Solihull MBC, Salford City Council and Whitefriars Housing Association.
