I am a person-focused operational and commercial leader; with 15 years of experience within senior software sales (SaaS).In the past I have worked in positions with lack of direction and commercial strategy, and I have been responsible for creating and executing on that strategy. I have worked in multi-national organisations with multi-million-dollar targets for clients – mostly in the law firm space; however this niche doesn’t mean I’m not diverse. Ice to an Eskimo and all that…I have built a carefully curated professional network that is made up of law firms ranging in size from sole practitioner firms, right through to law firms that rank in the top 10 globally by revenue, global advertising agencies, corporate and finance companies. I have always sold to my clients using a person-first approach – people buy from people they trust. I will never over-sell, I focus on providing clients what they need, even when they don’t know they need it. I am passionate about understanding why people do what they do, and I am completing a certificate in Neuroscience and Business to further provide me with the knowledge and skills to both sell more effectively and lead with research-proven methods.To further differentiate me, I am also a Registered Nurse. I still make a point to practice part-time, and this has hugely increased my empathy and compassion. It humanises me - I'm not just another person looking to make a quick buck. It has made me a better person, and this has translated into my professional life.Outside of work I love good food, good wine and good conversation. I’m a well-rounded human being and very much love all aspects of my life.

These customers generally worked within chambers rather than individually, and therefore I was able to deal with a vast range of buying scenarios. The segment I was working in became extremely cost sensitive and by managing the expectation I was able to ensure high retention rates, and save forward cancellations- Working closely with the marketing team to create collateral and campaigns for this segment. I also spearheaded the events and campaigns for the twice-yearly Barrister Reader intake. The aim of these campaigns was to make sure that LexisNexis gained the maximum amount of exposure to these new barristers, who generally will stay with a single provider for the duration of their career. We managed to increase customer uptake and had a large amount of ongoing business as a result of this work -
