Teaching AssistantWellington East Girls' College May 2018 - Aug 2018Wellington & Wairarapa, New ZealandAs part of a three month work experience placement, I worked closely with the special needs students within the school to support their learning and development. My role included building a rapport with the students, taking them to classes and assisting them academically and encouraging them to interact with other students within their classes. Whilst in this placement I also carried out an assessment on a student with an Educational Psychologist and shadowed this process. Furthermore, I was actively involved in coding the data for the psychologist and transcribing data.
