This role involves working with women in HMP Eastwood Park to provide a trauma-informed service to support them throughout their time in custody and prepare them for their future upon release.

I volunteered at HMP Bristol as part of the family services team in partial fulfilment of my MSc Degree. I aided both family and service users in a variety of situations from emotional to legal support. This placement also involved ensuring the service ran smoothly in the prison as well as facilitating 1:1 interventions with the prisoners.
