Hello, my name is Chloe. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, with a major in English and a minor in multimedia communications. I currently work at the Union-Times which is a newspaper for Princeton and Milaca, Minnesota where I work to this day. As the editor of the newspaper, I do the majority of the news reporting. I also edit news stories, design pages of the newspaper for print, capture and edit photos, conduct many interviews for stories, and manage the website and social media accounts.Throughout my education at Eau Claire, I took many important classes that have helped prepare me to develop my writing, communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills among others. Some of those classes were: Editing & Publication Management, Writing Creative Fiction & Non-fiction, and Intro to Layout & Design. I have also taken many different types of discussion-based literature classes. Outside of my school work, I spent seven months writing and editing for the school newspaper known as The Spectator. I have also engaged in some volunteer work at a local Eau Claire high school where I created audiobooks for one of its English classes. My educational experiences have helped me to become more well-rounded and have helped me strengthen my problem-solving, communication, and detail-oriented skillset.
