An educator with 6 years of elementary teaching experience. I am currently teaching the IB PYP curriculum in an international school setting. My bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and public school experience in the US provided me with a strong foundation in instructional methods, while my teaching and leadership roles in Korea have allowed me to adapt and expand my skills in a new cultural setting.Some highlights from my past teaching experience includes: > Establishing positive behavior support systems to foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom community> Guiding inquiry-driven project learning amongst students that were shared with the community> Integrating technology and cooperative learning structures into all subject lessons > Hiring, managing, collaborating with, and evaluating a staff of 16 teachers while maintaining a positive work environment As a teacher, I strongly value collaboration and inquiry-based learning.
