I collaborated with Duke cardiologists as well as an AI and computer vision team to develop an X-ray angiographic analysis system driven by deep learning technology to enhance physician interpretation. I developed a full-stack web application for cardiologists to test this AI-assistive angiographic assessment software in a research study. I also collaborated on a team of three developers to improve features and fix bugs on a production grade web application used by 27 organizations, including a nationwide accreditation authority, to share medical images online.

I built a small field of view imaging system capable of visualizing micrometer changes in superficial vasculature diameter in the mouse brain in response to neural activity. I also wrote Matlab code to analyze reflectance imaging data and quantify changes in vessel width following photostimulation of PV-ChR2 and Thy1-ChR2 mice. I performed USP compendia testing, including loss on drying, conductivity, and melting point tests. I also performed microbial identification tests, such as Gram stain, oxidase test, properly inoculated media, and subbing to selective media. Additionally, I received On-the-Spot rewards for performance-based recognition.
