13+ years supporting computers and networking technology including vendors such as Brocade, Cisco, Extreme, and Juniper. I am currently supporting U.S. military training operations mainly integration, support, and maintenance of various networks. My duties include initial configuration and integration of new equipment prior to deployment to determine installation requirements into the network. I engineer new network solutions to new systems as they are deployed and maintain them after they enter production. My most recent focus is helping to implement a new Juniper service provider MPLS network and am working towards getting certified with Juniper.

I work with engineering firms and department managers at Clark County School District to help deliver upgraded networks for the County. I provide planning and inspection services for voice/data/media networks for new school construction and modernization projects.

Las Vegas, Nevada Area

Diagnose, Troubleshoot, and resolve network issues in a multi-vendor environment running Brocade, Foundry, Cisco, and Extreme switches and routers. Respond to critical network down issues at over 300 schools and administration sites.

Troubleshoot wide variety of issues mainly concerning virtual desktops via Citrix. I worked with many specialized software used in the medical community to perform clinical charting and financial applications. Some examples are PCC (point click care), Wells Fargo check systems, AS400, and Kronos.

I was a team member assigned to migrate around 2500 end user devices from a Novel server environment to a Microsoft environment. My main objective was to reinstall and migrate user data and program settings for various applications used in a healthcare environment.

I was responsible for maintaining hp hardware and fulfilling warranty repair including the replacing of motherboards for laptop and desktop computers. I provided support for lotus notes and Windows XP as a tier one analyst.
