CurrentLed a cross-functional team in March to September 2024, when I was made the Project Manager of the Function's Committee in Legion of Mary in St. Luke's Parish Kubwa to deliver 50% increase in attendance, more involvement in planned activities within the group, resulting to an income of over 100k in Naira for a society with 0 balance.Major Duties:We organized and championed the following events from August - September1. Assumption Novena - 6th August 2024 - 14th August 20242. Feast of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary - 1st September 2024 - 7th September 2024 - We coordinated the Novena prayer each day. - We ensure members were notified early enough of the prayer time. - Made prayer materials available each day. - Research topics for each day and appointed individuals to speak on them.3. Annual Enclosed Retreat (a yearly retreat organized by parishes yearly) - 25th of August 20244. Praesidium Function - 8th of September 2024 - Had a meeting with the Curia to understand the objectives of the events - Setup a team looking at their strengths, work ethic, and relationship skills - Defined the expectations of the Curia to my team - Allocated duties to each team member based on their strengths and knowledge area - Was in constant communication with my team and the Curia on our progress and changes - My team and I managed the budget of N50,000 and N103,700 allocated to us for the two events - Forecasted a possible problem with my team, proffered solutions and presented to the CuriaSuccesses recorded:- A record-breaking number of turnouts for the Novena prayers since 2018, we recorded daily turnouts of over 30 and on a particular day we had 70 persons.- The team got constant accolades from the Curia and members for a job well done.- We recorded during the Enclosed Retreat a total number of 148 attendees and an increase during the praesidium function to 232.- We made the sum of N103,700 in cash and pledge of N58,000.
