As a Structural Engineer, I worked closely with architects and the construction department to analyze project requirements. I designed layouts for both residential and commercial structures, performed load and stress testing for construction materials and equipment, and developed renovation models to meet safety standards for existing constructions. I worked full time during holiday and part-time during university semesters as a junior engineer assistant. I gained hands-on experience in designing with steel, concrete, aluminum, and timber. I learned skills in structural drafting, AutoCAD, NDN and Multiframe analysis programs. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in site inspections and management meetings, eventually moving on to complete smaller projects independently, and eventually tackling more complex ones.
