Hey! and Welcome to my little space on LinkedIn! Most people call me Eugene and I'm currently Business Studies first year student in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I took this course to enhance my understanding of opening my own business and learn core fundamentals and form meaningful connections with my peers.This way, I am fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to one day open my very own coffee store.Most people describe me as a detail orientated, idealistic person. I don't believe that threading on the path most travelled will lead me where I want to be. I pride myself on my own work, no matter how big or small. Above all else, I treasure the opportunity to get my hands dirty once in awhile as it keeps me in touch with reality and things on the ground. I've worked for several small & big cafes serving high end specialty coffee that motivated me to pursue a line of work that involves Coffee.[WIP HERE]In addition, I've gained immense experience in the operations of an F&B business and learn to engage effectively with my customers. Critical thinking and a quick wit goes a long way to serve you as you work in these positions. From my extensive work experience, I'm always placed in a ideal position to showcase my leadership abilities , time management, capacity to lead and I've gained soft skills that can aid me in my future employment. When I was employed in Starbucks, I was voted Partner of the month twice consecutively for my efforts and hard work. I was also selected for a unique experience through their Coffee Master program that Starbucks offer to their Partner that show have a keen interested in learning about their history and the world of Coffee. I eagerly leapt at the opportunity and never looked back till today. Trying, brewing and tasting all kinds of Coffee in the world! I invite you to share a cup with me!
